Hi Guys,

This is a message for all of you who are still waiting to get their final payment by Affiliate Junktion (and asking me about this). No worries, I got paid a few days ago. Keep the faith!

The only thing that is dissapointing (again), is the amount of declined leads, despite of all the program changes made by Affiliate Junktion since October 2008.

Only 50% got approved in my case, mostly because of the huge amount of unsubscribers since the announcement of the deactivation of the Affiliate Junktion program.

Finally, a product from Michael Jones that is affordable.

Most of his products cost over $1000, but this one not even close to that. It looks that he’s delivering a good quality product for a nice price. It’s a first sale for $77 (a high quality Ebook) and a backend sale of $97 and it’s called “The Adword Manifesto”.

Since Affiliate Junktion recently deactivated their affiliate program, one of my blogreaders brought up an interesting case (thank you Chirag :-). I was asked to review a similar affiliate program like Affiliate Junktion, just to give my opinion if this program was worth joining. It’s called: fivestaraffiliate.com.

Well, for starters, let’s kick the door in, so you won’t have to read everything, if you are just interested in my advice.

My advice… stay away from fivestaraffiliate.com. Why? Let me tell you…. I just signed up for free and started to investigate their program. No, I didn’t buy their starting package for $98, I just signed up. What worried me, is that there are very little quality search results for them in Google (natural and paid). So I dived in a bit more…

First….I checked and reviewed them a bit more. They look a lot like Affiliate Junktion. The whole setup is exact the same and it seems that they had a happy time with copying and pasting. There’s one HUGE difference though. They charge you for joining them ($98) and this is tricky. Why?

Yes, it’s sad but true, Affiliate Junktion just announced that they will deactivate their affiliate program. So, it’s game over for this one…

“Due to the change of direction and global economic changes, Affiliate Junktion’s strategic business goals can no longer support the Affiliate Junktion referral program.”

Today I can tell you guys that they gave me my money back, so now I can say one positive thing about them. Although they don’t deliver what they promise, their money back guarantee works.

Here’s my tip, stay away from WildSEO.

Yesterday I purchased WildSEO from Ben Cooper & Chris Wilson. I thought it would be safe to buy, because for starters, it was recommended by Eric Rockefeller.

Learning about SEO is always a good thing. But these guys just don’t deliver what they promise.

On their salespage, they promise you these 3 Ebooks:
1. “The Quickstart Guide To SEO Mastery…”
2. The “Advanced SEO Bootcamp”
3. The “Raw Source Report”

But instead of getting these 3 Ebooks, you ONLY get one 46 page report from them. They try to drown you in a lot of bonuses.

Don’t get blinded by that, because it is mostly old and outdated stuff anyway.

Here’s another tip. If you want to buy WildSEO anyway, then you can get it all for just $17. How?

If you click away from their salespage, you get a discount. Instead of paying $49, you only have to pay $17.

Beware!! There’s also an upsell. They try to upgrade you to a VIP member for life, just for a onetime payment of $67. I wasn’t interested in that, so I turned the offer down.

After that, they offered me a discount. Now the VIP upsell was only $37. I was still not interested.

After turning that offer down, I got another dicounted offer for the same VIP upsell. Now it was only $17. But I was still not interested and rejected that offer also.

Guess what? After that, they upgraded me for FREE for being a VIP member. I got all the extra stuff for nothing, zero. What does that say? You be the judge of that.

But I didn’t care about the bonuses. I just wanted the 3 Ebooks, like promised in the salesletter. I sended an email to their support and asked where the rest of the 3 Ebooks were. Their answer was that I could download all their products at their members site. Yeah, right, if I didn’t try that before….

Now I have asked for a refund if they can’t deliver what they promised. So, be warned guys!

Probably most of you heard this already, but I think it’s still worth mentioning. Why? Because there is a good chance we all will earn (a bit) more with AJ’s affiliate program. At the moment, about 10 days now, Affiliate Junktion is testing a new sign up proces and payment plan.

This is just something that you might be interested in. I highly recommended this one guys!

I purchased Get More Buyers myself and I love it. Lots of information and great strategies about list building. The most important thing here is to realize that your money isn’t in the list….. Well, it’s partially true, says Michael Rasmussen, because the money is in fact in your BUYERS list.

And that’s the main thing, on which Michael has created his videos.

Is it expensive? I think that a one time payment of $77 is a fair price. He probably could have charged a lot more….

I just found out that I’m in Affiliate Junktion’s top 3 Affiliate List again, for the second time in a row. This time, I moved 1 step up, from third in the month of July 2008, to second place in the month of August 2008.

What a great surprise…

In the month of July, I was in Affiliate Junktion’s top 3 affiliate list (click picture below… well, that’s me at the bottom).

That’s nice. Especially if you consider that I don’t spent much time anymore at maintaining Affiliate Junktion. It’s about 30 minutes per month, tops.

The only thing I do these days, is a daily check at my statistics. That takes less than 1 minute each day.

A little while ago I started the program, did my google adwords testing and as soon I was satisfied with the results, I just left it alone and that’s it.

So, this is a nice extra income for half an hour work per month, don’t you think…

What a surprise… Affiliate Junktion needs more time to get their new platform up and running. Probably 1 or 2 extra days.

This is what they say:

Our site upgrade has been completed, however, we are experiencing some delay in integrating the previous affiliate system to the new platform.We hope to be up and running with the new platform on Thursday 26th June, however, it may be delayed untill Friday the 27th of June.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this upgrade.AffiliateJunktion.com

So, let’s hope it won’t be longer than that time period, because we all want to go back there and make some money.

Affiliate Junktion decided to upgrade their system. After the upgrade, major improvements should be made for their affiliates. We’ll see.

Thanks to the upgrade, all the AJ affiliates are advised NOT to do paid advertising during that time. That would be between
24th of june 2008 and 26th of june.

This is what AJ’s support mailed me to do:
“…The timezone we use is standard New Zealand time. I would
Suggest stopping your advertisement at 12.01AM on the 24th
Of June and resuming your advertisement at 12.01AM on the
26th of June….”

So, this is why you probably won’t see much advertising for this program during that time period. I don’t know if signing up during that time period is possible. Perhaps you will not even get an answer from Affiliate Junktion, so I would suggest to wait and try it after the 26th of june.

In a nutshell… if you want to know how, then check out Michael Rasmussen’s “Mini Site Profits Exposed“. He’s giving away 12 free videos about how to create successful mini sites.
